While I was working on the Bavaria Norns I had the idea to make striped norns. It wasn't difficult to find a name for the new breed - the Zebra Norns. The Zebra Norns use the same genome as the Bavaria Norns, a modified gold genome. They are amphibious and reach puberty earlier than the originals. This breed occupies Geat slot Z.

By now I made a new version of the Zebra Norns, they got a totally new sprite set. Please note that the new version will overwrite the old sprites because both versions occupy the same slot.

The Zebra Norns have sex-dependent colours. In contrast to the first version these ones have all their stripes by birth. To make the old and senile norns not so pale as usual I gave them another tint but you can't see that on the pictures.

The installation of the Zebra Norns is easy: if you doubleclick on the exe-file the installation program will start and each file will appear in the right folder. You can begin to play with two baby norns or hatch the eggs added in your hatchery. Enjoy!

First I decided to replace the old version with the new one. But then I thought it would be useful to leave the old Zebra Norns on my site. So it is your decision which version you like to play with. ;-)

At first the Zebra Norns only have a striped tail. When they grow older their appearance changes a little as you can recognize by their colours and their pattern. At youth life stage their faces become brighter and their bodies get stripes.

Do you like to play with the Zebra Norns? Come and get some coloured ones! If you breed them with other norns you might receive interesting combinations. There are coloured Zebra Norns for both versions. Please choose the right ones for the sprites you have installed!
